Wait, I'm confused. They can only understand the cats while wearing the headphones? What about all the many times previously where people not wearing any headphones were clearly understanding the cats? Are there just specific cats who can speak Japanese or something?

@Terithian I think Mao is the only cat that can normally talk to humans.

It's pretty amusing that the cat ear headphones let them understand them.
