We Shall Now Begin Ethics - Vol. 2 Ch. 9 - The Real Me

That talk about personas was great,really had me thinking about myself as I read. Also its nice that even if the past characters are no longer the focus,we get to see them do their own thing which was enough for me to be invested to see what happens to them in the future.
Really enjoying this manga, thanks for continuing to do this translator~

"Lookin' good Joker!" I was hoping to see Socrates come out behind Sensei as a Persona. :p

I must say this was another very nice chapter. 😀

@reica
Typo on page 4: "constantly forming new idnetities" >> "constantly forming new identities"

I love that with a slight twist on the characters, I could easily imagine this being a harem.
Obviously a parody harem because, ya know... it's ethics, but it would be fun. Kinda wanna write it.

i have mixed fellings bout this manga, there are some chapters i really like while there are some i reeeeaaalllly feel negative about.
Like this is one of my favourite chapters so far, but the rape/suicide girl chap was not. i hope it'll get better and better eventually.

this is a pretty good chapter. i was skimming through it tbh, because it was word-heavy, but it's actually pretty interesting. also...

The manga makes a pretty good point of needing an philosophy class as a mandatory part of secondary education. Maybe not as a yearly thing, but perhaps at least once, like they do with health courses in the US. Nit-picked concepts that are relevant and relateable to youth perhaps.

@Ikkakun It would be pointless, just like how the rest of teachers are worthless human beings, philosophy teachers are the same. IRL, they just read the book, act like as if they really know what they are talking about and are narcissists. That was my experience with them. You overstimate humans too much.

If you are bothered about the philosophy in this manga, then good, you are a human that has its own personality and philosophy. Or in this chapter, persona.

Funny, I just realised that his classes in the manga seems to actually be following some kind of lesson plan- they went from Greek philosophers to Nietzche last chapter and Jung in this one.
Also, while I'm sure someone higher in the thread made the Persona jok+s already, I really liked how Takayanagi managed to frame Jung's theories around modern-day social media.
