We Shall Now Begin Ethics - Vol. 6 Ch. 29 - Shameful Things

Realistic as always with a wholesome feeling. Great chapter. As always, this manga doesn't disappoint. Wait, didn't I say that every chapter? LMAO. I like how this manga doesn't shy away from "shameful" topics like this. Show just how great this series is.
More points since sensei got so flustered~ so cute! Poor guy but here we are, liking it and want to see more lmao.
Odds are her mom is just, well, a giant prude. Some people are like that. Rather than adequately teaching their children about sexuality, they just make it taboo and repress it. It tends to backfire spectacularly later.
There's also those who make it a religious thing, but they tend to shoehorn "god" as a surrogate authority figure into everything else, not just sexuality. I didn't think that would be a common thing in a place like Japan though.

My theory is that in both cases, deep down, the parent is just too embarrassed to deal with it lol.

Yeah, I feel like this is more prevalent in religious countries and religious families, like in my country. Sex education is almost non-existent during my time, no idea about now though. But that doesn't erase the possibility of religious families in Japan, of course. Interestingly, though, my private religion teacher when I was younger was actually more open about sexual education than my parents (who aren't even religious). It all depends on the individual at the end lol.
 
Porn and masturbation are cringe, your ancestors did great things when it was harder to see the opposite sex naked.

It's a shame there are still people out there that are shunned for paying attention to their sexual needs in a safe manner, especially teenagers.

Btw why does sensei keep getting hotter every damn chapter?

The reason why the mom or dad doesn't talk about it probably has to do with upbringing and with how society and religion view sex. There's also sex education to consider and I'm not sure how good it is in Japan but it's pretty terrible in the US. Parents are typically too ashamed to talk about it so they'll either shame you or not talk to you at all about it so what people logically do is turn to porn to learn and experiment. Girls have it the worse as they may not even know what menstruation is by the time they have it and panic at the fact that blood is suddenly coming out of them mixed with the varying degrees of pain.

"Sexual drive" is a myth fabricated by porn industry, it don't exist...
"Enlightenment" is cringe, sad that Sensei it's happy about that.
 
@Veruschka I mean... It's the whole point of this chapter... People don't usually think that girls masturbate. What would be the point of changing the gender?
