We Swore to Meet in the Next Life and That’s When Things Got Weird! - Ch. 6

@K1NGS3DDYx89
It's actually a pixiv serialization, so the releases are often in short chapters.
But the later chapters are a bit longer! ^v^

Because this is manga it didn't really shows but in real life the couple would have looked strange.

@voxit Attraction towards teenagers is called ephebophilia. Pedophilia indicates the attraction towards kids in the prepuberal phase (which usually starts around 12 years old).

Or if you want you can picture this manga as taking place in Germany/Austria/Italy/etc., where the age of consent is 14 and they aren't doing anything illegal. I mean... if that's what you are worried about.

@T_Rz
illegal not, but in germany they would get some strange looks too
the reason the age of consent is 14 is because that's when puberty starts kicking in and you try telling a bunch of 16 year old it's illegal to sleep with each other just because they are not eighteen.

@voxit
I mean depends on what you define pedophilia as?
- She isn't attracted to him because he is a minor but because he is the person she fell in love with in a previous life (where they had the same age)
- they aren't fucking for all I know (I'm just casually reading this, might have skipped some stuff)
-he is completly able to give consent and seems to be treated on equal grounds
-she herself was confused what to do with the age gap and has (somewhat) adressed the issue (or atleast the narrative did)

so although morally confusing, this isn't the worst age gap realationship that could have been written...

The age gap only matters because the guy is below 18. Once he hits a certain age the gap is basically shrugged off.

Woah the new cover for vol 3 on the main page, is that a spoiler? Thanks for the chapter btw!

Who are all these nosy whispering degenerates, let them have their cute date!

It's a bit strange, the emphasis on age gap is so heavy in this work yet the art style is such that if you told me that they were the same age I'd 100% believe it

This is a pretty good take on a social taboo. I wonder how it will proceed
