Well considering the setting this story takes place in its quite possible that rather then a monster she's just another type of combat droid this one designed/built around the concept of spreading terror amongst enemy forces, her mouth seems metallic/cybernetic and her eyes seem awfully similar to the two other female humanoid design robots in their human camo that we see in the other series. Hence why she augmented/customized her admirer like she did to instill fear in others.
