Welcome Back, Alice - Vol. 1 Ch. 4 - Why?

Honestly, It's pretty much just a fetish porn plot with the porn taken out, kinda like some porn are just isekai stories with porn added at random points.

So, a boy? That likes to dress as woman, why else use male pronouns and male toilet. Basically a boy who chooses to act womanly, not trans? I don't really like kei man, seems manipulative.

"Also, just because I quit being a boy, it's not like I want to be a girl"

visible confusion

Sacre bleu — is it so hard to simply have a character without having to worry about al these boxes? It's as if you can't think of a person before you've decided what box to put himin.

@mirewitch
Yes, the character is whatever the auctor wants him to be, not one that lives by the rules you decide human beings should live by to make sense of them, or what you call a “coherent gender identity” which is nothing more than following the rules you decided boy and girls should respectively follow.

@Neushaartje Its pretty weird that you're @-ing a 6 month old comment, since I dropped this manga months ago and don't remember it very well, but I'll do my best to respond. I'm not saying the character needs to conform to gender expectations, or any other "rules" as you call them. I'd be cool with the character being a guy who rebels against gender norms, or non-binary person, or a transwoman, or loads of other things. But I prefer characters who are internally consistent in the logic of the story, and I felt like this character was very inconsistent. Obviously that's just my subjective opinion; the author can write any kind of character they like. But it made the story less interesting to me, and was one reason I dropped this manga.

The title was posted on 4chan today; I admittedly do not really check dates when I go into comment sections.

Inconsistent would mean the character contradicts himself in what he says which he never has.
He has simply said many different things which you believe must be said by either boys or girls, but never by both, but nothing what he said contradicted itself.

@Neushaartje So if this was closer to my comment date I'd probably try to give textual evidence to support my claims of inconsistency. But rereading a manga I dropped months ago just to argue with a stranger isn't something I feel like doing. Sorry.

"isn't it ok for us to go to your house? You have such nice skin"

Girl, I fail to find the correlation between those two sentences
