I know this is manga and all, but there's a reason full body robe are the choice of clothing for desert dwelling people, the robe trap cooler air inside rather than letting your body get into contact with the hotter outside air, since the air have very low moisture content.

Only in fictional works/manga would you see skin revealing design like this in an arid environment, while in reality his would immediately course/dry out your skin quicker than not. not to mention sand and dust flying around in the air...
