Thanks for the update, this is one the series I always look forward to.

The Empress is tough, got to give her props, but this reaction is very understandable. First sheer terror, panic for your life, trying to escape, then worrying over the Emperor, and finally watching said Emperor rain down blood. Plus its not like she's been getting a lot of rest to begin with since this whole situation (crossing to another world) began. There's a limit to adaptability.

The art style looks way cleaner now! I loved how opulent the previous art style was but this is way easier for the eyes to digest :)
