Well, seems all the natives can't hold their emotions, making the need to develop empathy a non-issue. Then in comes this smiling poker face who can understand the Emperor better than anyone and can perhaps even influence him to her will.

If Heavenly Maiden is a priestess position, perhaps from a religious standpoint, it's as though she's cast a spell over him.

Or I'm just reading too much into it. This is a guess, not a spoiler, but I've been warned for guessing before.

and honestly why is our empress always worried about this maiden bitch. i get she’s supposed to be benevolent and everything, and i love that she slapped han and saw his true colors, but why did she have to stick out for someone who harasses her daily. who gives a shit if she was pushed down

@QueenKumQuat my thoughts exactly! Although now the Empress is probably going to be wary and cautious of him, I feel like this guy isn't too unhappy about these developments?? Maybe he wanted to be situated next to the Emperor's palace instead of the Empress?

Ungrateful woman, is she a toddler? Making a ruckus when one of the guys (because she covets both of them) is with the empress and throwing a tantrum for every single insignificant thing... To be honest I don't see the need of putting her I to the story unless the author wants to pair her with one of the guys, but if she doesn't grow mentally and as a person, I pity the one that has to suck it up and stay with her
