What's Your Favorite Animal(s)?

I'm surprised no one making a quip about cougar?

None of you guys talked about tardigrades? That thing's a cutie.

Oh and they can also survive a while in 151°C (304°F for you uncultured swines) as well as temperatures near absolute zero (1°K, -272°C, -458°F)...

Not to mention that they withstand pressure 1200 times our atmosphere, ten whole years without water, and survive radiation a thousand times that of which would kill a human...

Plus they survive through Earth's FIVE mass-extinction events. Yeah, a meteor that smashed all dinosaurs out of existence? That rock's paper-mache to a tardigrade.

Oh, did I forgot to mention that astronauts strapped them to a petri dish exposed to the deadly, cold, radiation-drowned vacuum of space? Yeah it's just another afternoon for the water bears.

@DANDAN_THE_DANDAN

Oh, don't remind me of microscopic creatures. The idea that Dust Mites are living on my bed where I sleep, or that Demodex Mites are mating and excreting on my face everyday, is nightmare inducing.

@PantsMan Great, one more manga in my readlist. Thx a lot.

@Greenfrost Did you know that the average office desk has 400 times more bacteria than a toilet, there're more bacteria in your mouth than there are people in the world, and that the "smell of rain" is caused by a bacteria called actinomycetes?

@421cookies Some sci-fi nerd has probably already written a fanfic about this...
That Time I Reincarnated into a World Where Tardigrades Rule

My favorite animals are domestic dogs (Canis lupus familiaris) for the way they show affection, and orcas (Orcinus orca) for how amazingly intelligent they are. In fact they are consider to be the second most intelligent animals on the planet.

Hedgehogs are cute. I want a hedgehog. Having a hedgehog would be nice, but I'm as irresponible as it gets, so no pets for me.

Anything that's cute or badass, or a mixture of both-like snakes.

If I can play with it and it won't kill me, hurt me, or seriously lead to one of us being injured in some way, I will attempt to play with it.

In my case, i love canines as a whole, Foxes, Dogs (normal ones, not weird breeds like pugs that can't breathe properly), Wolves, Jackals, Coyotes, i think they're cool and adorable. Also cats, but i'm saying that while also never owning one, so i like cats the animal, not cats as pets, although i would like to have a cat sometime in the future.

@EOTFOFYL
But the Tiger's 88 millimeter cannon jaw is pretty strong so it doesn't have much trouble getting food, that's why it can laze around all day, just like any other feline.

My favorite animals are pterosaurs, if you count extinct ones. No, im not talking about the weird leathery naked bat-winged abominations you see in Jurassic park, I'm talking about actually ones as tall as giraffes and had wingspans the length of a small plane. Theres just something about them that makes me love them, they're so derpy and weird, like their head and neck is longer by their body by three times, yet it still manages to be lighter than the actual body. A bunch of them flying must be a sight to see. Who doesn't like a giant giraffe demon stork?

@Johnknee
Like the Quetzalcoatlus? I think that's one of the biggest, if not the biggest pterosaur, so big it was the size of a small plane. That's a very interesting animal, i wish timetravel was real to see one of those fly, it sounds impossible that something so big could take control of the sky, todays flying animals aren't bigger than the size of a small table.

Wolves.
They work in a pack.
Theres a saying/word Lone Wolf.
N a lot of Protagonists use Wolfs as a Theme
