When was the last time you read a manga that actually finished?

a few days ago, i finished this https://mangadex.org/title/460/angel-densetsu
manga that end are pretty uncommon, but it isn't that hard to find one (for me, at least)

i jus done reading Aku no Hana ( Flowers of Evil) an hour ago b4 this thread created. Man what a good read, i have a roller coaster emotion when reading this kind of manga. Fell into the despair and never looking at the future is the best kind of manga.

@PantsMan what, eehh, its ended ????
Could you please tell me what happend with the girl ? is she still stuck or sometin. Please use spoils tag.

edit : i forget to use spoiler tag

I finished Kuro the last week.
But its true, at least im my case, I barely read finished mangas.

what? You mean some actually end? I'm confused, I thought that was only true in one shots and series that were slated to be cancelled.

Actually this is one of my pet peeves or maybe a wish that could go into that wish thread. It seems like so many times authors start stories that are not episodic and are instead one tale but then they never end them, instead milking them for all they're worth. To me it is often the reason that a story that could be really good never reaches it's true potential.

@schlo i know dude, but chill man, and you should be know the context right ? and yeah it's make me grind my gears, maybe it's because the story is more smarter than the author itself. Like No Game No Life, the story is too briliant, but the author cant hold the burden to an actual story but author still continue to milking it even more...... it's a burden that's author must hold and not disapoint any reader around the world, they can't reached the peak even though it's on theirs head.

Classic ones that have ended and I really like them a lot:
- Last Game (shoujo, romcom)
- Basara (shoujo, romance, adventure, action)
- Bokura ga Ita (shoujo, romance, high school, drama)

Fairly new ones:
- Men's Life (shoujo, romance, crossdressing, high school)
- The Villainess' Slow Prison Life Began With Her Broken Engagement (shoujo, comedy, lots of text but great)

No, but my memory is terrible. I can't tell you what manga I read a month ago, if I'm not still reading it now.

Hayate no Gotoku, and boy was that ending a let down! I have three different endings in my headcanon.

@SveNo I finally read it to the end a few months ago and thought that the ending is probably the best one that could be done at that point.
I mean, I was disappointed by the last arc as a whole because of how antagonists were boring, but the resolution itself was fine. At least Hata didn't make Hina suddenly win because of her popularity, because she clearly wasn't going to otherwise.

If by end, you mean a story that had a set plan for a beginning, middle, and an end that didn't artificially extend its shelf life because it got popular? Yeah those are tough to come by. I guess the most recent one I read that wasn't a promotional manga would probably be Helck but even that still has a continuation after the first Helck. There are still several series that are on my list that I need to finish that are fully released but I just haven't really gotten around to it.
