This hurts.... clearly, the amnesia (spell?) thing has to do with Roger and Claude's apparent brother that returned to life.... i hope he actually starts to try to recover his memory instead of trying to kill his only daughter and sucessor. At least, the princess has maids who truly are willing to hit the emperor to try to get his memory back.....
I believe it is possible to try to repair the relationship, as the amnesia it is not Claude's fault.
