Why is there so much h-manga on mangadex?

Let me clarify: I have no issue with it. I just am a little confused since there are a few good sites out there already that host straight up, no story, porn (exhentai, is a big one).

I mean, I've seen doujins that I just finished reading on EX here a few days later and it's like...why. It seems like a waste of server space (?).

Less than 20% on hentaidex mangadex is hentai.
And that's only a small percentage of existing hentai.

But hentai tends to have less chapters compared to non-hentai.
And is often less complex to translate.
So it's faster to scanlate?

Because Plykiya's contract specifically states that the site must have crossdressing H-manga for him to work here. And allowing purely crossdressing H-manga would be weird, so other types are allowed.

I still think that when you link url of porn, and don't have a MD account/don't have H toggle on. It should have a either 18+ warning or the cover image should also be censored, rather than only the "no chapters" message with the cover image in full view

I remember saying this once eons past when ixlone posted the link to the first chapter on MD which was porn. He didn't listen or react either....
