Maybe it's just my age (I'm now in my 20s) coz before I didn't really care about these age gap stories but now, I couldn't enjoy them very much anymore. Thinking that someone my age is getting close to a high schooler or even younger is just weird.

The princess is the Goddess Kleitos' vassal and by 14 her consciousness will get erased by Kleitos and her body posessed so another theory was that the one the Prince was in love with was probs actually the goddess, but then again the princess is also not much different from a real wore herself
