When you read this manga for so long that seeing a random croc on the school is the most normal thing there.

Croc, humangator, penguins, rabbit, liama, weird shit.

Its really interesting author put details on this background because they're actually just a familiar from the witches and can't be seen by normal human.

Sometimes author put side characters as well on background doing their stuff.

I rarely found manga like this, some like one piece or rave master has it.

@HDMI1 A lot of witches seem to have their familiars and lesser spirits all keep a theme. Rabbits for Tanpopo and bears for the little sister, etc. In which case the crocodile would be associated with Chronoir Schwarz VI who I believe is helping out the Principal in the school at the moment. Isn't she assistant principal or some such? So yeah, probably one of her lesser familiars going around keeping an eye on the students or maybe Takamiya specifically.

Man, I need to do a re-read of this sometime soon. So many threads to keep together.

The gator might just be a casual reminder that Chronoir still exists, and is no more a concern than anything else. The tower witches are by and large disarmingly mundane when they aren't actively trying to kill and eat you. Just look at Tanpopo and Best Sensei.

So glad it wasn't just me who thought random croc was just random, but yeah given the overall screwy-ness of this manga(giant 's going Godzilla on the city) let alone this chap(ceiling puppet I'm looking at you) it all sorta blends in....
