No repenting villain, consistent character.
Everyone gets beat up by strong MC, consistent character.
Mc doesn't suddenly become weak in second act, continues to beat people up, consistent character.
Oppressed people get revenge and kidnap ruler in rebellion, consistent with historical events.
Consistency is the most enjoyable thing about any story.
Find a thing your MC is good at and keep them good at it, don't flipflop.
