@NotALewdGuy Well, I'm jealous. My old college didn't have the funds to supply such things. You gotta have your own instruments or equipment for clubs, and even for sports classes you were only taking for one semester. I went the cheap route and picked swimming and badminton for my phys ed classes. Only the rich kids could go for stuff like fencing.
I more or less used to join several activities (aikido, chorus, roller skating...) when I was a child, only to quit short after as soon as I lost interest, so I don't think it was weird from Hinata at all. Swimming was the only one I stayed for a couple of years.
Of course, when you grow up, you feel differently about it, but that's childhood for you.
Definitely not true. For archery club or other sports yeah, for a music club, a school may have large percussion instruments available for use, but for anything smaller, the students are expected to have their own and practice at home. I'm fairly confident it's the same in Japan, based on literally every manga I've seen that included a Light Music club :)
