@MegaXL
I learned of a story recently where a guy went off the deep end, did some bad things for stupid reasons, ended it all when he set his plan into motion, but because he was so out of the loop, 2 days before he enacted his plan, what he was so pissed off about was over.
He failed miserably, and it was all for nothing.
@1boring Shouldn't be involved in? If he wanted that, he should move to uncharted mountains to live as a hermit. However, he's instead the commander of an army unit and regularly associates with the royal princess. All that while being the individually most powerful human around. There's no way he wouldn't be a part of politics.
Yep, MC kinda has no choice but to be involved in politics. His "Evil God" status kinda guarantees he'd be dragged into politics regardless of his desire.
Kudos to the author for not making him actively seek out political reform and such though. He only got involved in the first place because he was basically dragged into it by others.
The ruling class establishment trying to hold onto to their power and privileges even if it means getting their hands dirty and staining their sleeves red in the process...At the end of the day, politics never really changes, huh.
@Kaarme The evil god is a person who can't escape the fate of the evil god. He is fated to cause a big change in the world. Since Yuusuke isn't really a violent person he can only do it through politics, technology, infrastructure and w.e else his powers are good for.
The wealthy elite are always inferior as people, which is why they cling to their 'privileges' because they need those to feel superior to everyone. If they can't feel superior to everyone, they don't know what to do anymore.
