Okay, I see the Romance tag. I also see widow+teen. I need spoilers(ish).

I don't care about the age gap, I care about lies. Is there, or is there not Romance? I'm okay if it's just floof and wholesomeness too, and I'll just enter with that expectation, but then there better be no romantic hints or anything...

If by romance you mean going out and doing "couple" stuff, no. From the translated chapters so far its' been just wholesomeness (their relationship is pretty much at the same place throughout)

First of all, let me thank you for the answer.
That said... What else could I mean? Romance means...romance. I mean, I don't necessarily expect them to have sex or anything, but... Couple stuff, yes. Hold hands, kiss... You know, romance.
It's not that an adult can't love a kid/teen "like a parent". That's good too, fluffy and wholesome, but that's NOT Romance.
So then...should I go in expecting a kind of mother/son relationship?

If you've already started reading it then you'll know how the general vibe between them is like; it doesn't really progress any further than this. Although now that you mention it and me thinking about it some more, there are some moments where they act more 'couple-y' than mother and son. Both characters are clearly romantically attracted to each other, and without too much spoilers I'll say that there are moments where, yes, they do romantic stuff (but think like "let's watch the fireworks together", "I'll wait for you after practice", etc.). Stuff thats' not too far from what a mother and son would do, but maybe just a tinge more romantically charged? There are also moments where they act more like mother/son though, so also expect that.

Though I feel I'll end up disappointed. Go with a mother/son expectation, find semi-romance. Go expecting romantic development, there's none cause he's too young. Sigh...
