Glory be! A new chapter! Been enjoying this series quite a bit.
Wonder what the Merchant Kong’s deal is. Was he always a sleaze bag who was deceiving the princess or did he get replaced by some up-and-comer? Maybe got addicted to gambling and lost his assets? Crackpot theory; the guy MC met at the gambling den is the Merchant King.
@DaJa-rahrah I was trying to think of other anime with that sort of style and gritty/gorey fights, and Afro Samurai came to mind, so maybe Gonzo. They have a fairly good repertoire of action anime. I would be two hundred percent down for that.
@icarushector Yeah Gonzo could work. Too bad Madhouse blew their load with Redline otherwise they could've been a good choice. They'll never do another hand drawn again after that fluster cluck.
It's really refreshing to see an Isekai where the MC is naturally a badass. Youjo Senki is good too, but this one is simply better without the Ayn Rand preaching.
I don't know the original text obviously, so I don't doubt that it says three sided dice. But those are clearly four sided dice. They're pretty common in tabletop rpgs, and probably board games. I guess it could be a cultural thing though - three sides stand up while the fourth is the base on the ground, so maybe that's why they're called three sided?
@GaikoTekina - Given the number of pages, this is absolutely a monthly.
