Yakuza Reincarnation - Vol. 5 Ch. 17 - Tradition & Reform

ya know, I was wondering how they hadn't burned the son for heresy when he had such a demon tainted appearance for a dwarf. He wasn't a dwarf, but a dragon. question answered.

Thank you for another incredible chapter, called it he was at least half dragon. I loved while their having their world building discussion/context/lore tangent that you can see its all going over Ryuu's head. Then the look they gave her. I'm surprised Ryuu actually complimented the dragonborn on accepting her blow just so he could try to land one on her. Poor Nui, I hope at some point they do go into context regarding what the dark elves are up to in this world, whenever anything bad happens she just assumes she via her heritage will make things worse. She also demonstrates she's the best girl by leaping in front of Ryuu and then shielding her with her body even though you can see she's terrified. She truly means it when she says wants to protect her princess. Also the blushing scenes.
Still who was Ryuu complimenting there when she talked about them being so energetic was it the dragonborn heir or Nui?
The swordmaster's descendant will likely either be Nui or her vassal since from the way the dragon phrased it they meant it was unfunny for the person accompanying the descendant to make that joke rather then the person making the joke being the descendant.... So I'm guessing demonic swords are possessed blades?

I am waiting for her to grow 2 other set of arms and punch her enemies Asura Wrath style

So basically, since the old techniques are on a decline, the young Master wants to change their customs in order to still be able to compete with those outside. Both the traditionalists and the young generation have different ideas as to how to deal with their race's weakening influence.

I knew it had to be a dragon. With Carlo's being part of the family, and then the other races started popping up, it was apparent that the Dunia aren't just a family of dwarves.

It was the heir. Nui was just infatuated with Ryuu's smile.

@Kuroageha

especially when they constantly refuse to believe that she ain't the same person.
Hell, that soul line or something that gives power to her attacks is vastly different from the princess they knew and they still refuse to believe her, even with all the crazy stuff she has been doing.
It's getting so annoying.
