Again with Yamada being insecure because a girl pass a lot of time with Kase. It's somewhat infuriating to see that Yamada can't trust Kase even with all Kase has already done for her. I thought the Senpai incident made Yamada mature but it seem she still haven't grown that much.

But getting the roommate to fall in love with Kase would be a sleazy and shitty way to create drama for the story.
We all know Kase and Yamada are bound forever, so a love-triangle would only end in making everyone involved miserable and break the roommate's heart. I don't want to see that.

@Lilliwyt I wouldn't say that she doesn't trust Kase-san as much as she just has a lot of insecurities. This is shown quite a bit in the first series, which is told from Yamada's perspective, where she sees herself as a plain girl and she puts Kase-san on a pedestal which causes her to lose faith in herself and makes her unable to see just how much Kase-san cares for her. Plus her insecurities are now magnified due to the fact that they're in college and 1 they aren't able to see each other nearly as much as they used to be able to and 2 now Kase-san is surrounded by new girls who Yamada doesn't know if they might be after Kase-san or not.

Finally a new chapter! I agree that there is no need to go the triangle route, but I wonder how long it will be until the roommate finds out they are a couple.

What Yamada fears is that Kase will stop loving her because Kase will be in continual contact with someone whom Kase will regard as better. And Kase could not, by some act of will, ensure that she would always love Yamada and never love someone else.
Yui doesn't see herself as charming. Yui isn't charmed by herself in the way that Tomoka is charmed by her; Yui isn't charmed by herself in the way that the audience is charmed by her. Anyone could crush Yui in just seconds, by demanding “How could Kase-san love someone like you?!?” because Yui doesn't have the answer. And Tomoka doesn't recognize that Yui couldn't answer the question, so she doesn't work to help Yui to see the answer.

What would be nice is if senpai would try to seduce roommate because she is irritated that everyone falls for Tomoka and they end up falling for each other.
It might get that chip from off her shoulder and hopefully roommate can get her to lose the attitude a little.

They'd have that hot/cold personality pairing trope going on.

@Oeconomist I just receive the first volume (Bless the editor who pick up for France) and it make me realise how much Yamada has overcome some of er insecurities.

Either Kase will fuck Yamada, or they will reach the end of the university separately. Such short meetings only add to stress. If one has a head full of studies, and the other lacks the spirit to impose herself, they will simply move away from each other.
PS: SMS:"I'll wait until 8 pm"... Great. So they'll chat 10 minutes and Kase will go to the dorm to Senpai? Great. Why not just break rules for once and stay overnight with Yamada? It will solve so many problems. She learns in sports university or noble maidens school? If she continues to behave like shy virgo, she will not be able to become a good athlete.
