So it's kinda strange that they still have a relationship like this. Not that I'm complaining. It feels a lot like 'Prism', but more on the romance, heartwarming, feelings leaning side of the yuri genre than the grounded in reality and overcoming teenage angst and being different and hormones, a lot of hormones and hornyness.

Technically Yamada already graduated, so they weren't actually in high school anymore. But your point still stands, about them having moved to a more physically, intimate relationship.
