Thank you for the note about the names! I'm learning Japanese, so I was curious what the kanji were for their given names. "Asuka" has such a poetic meaning.

Also, was Yamaguchi shirtless on purpose? It looks like he took the time to grab a change of pants, since he's wearing shorts post-bath but had been wearing long pants when he opened the door. He says he forgot to grab a shirt — forgot, when we know he's conscious of Shinohara because of his reaction when she showed up unexpectedly on his doorstep? Not likely! He's conscious enough of her that he wanted to freshen up after she arrived; of course he'd be thinking about his clothing. He's an honor student, too — not likely to be air-headed. Poker-faced Yamaguchi-kun is a little imp who wanted to see Shinohara's reaction to his shirtless self.
