I really don't like the original takagi series

Not a lot of development, it just follows the same formula over and over and over. Its not TERRIBLE but its not good either. It takes a long damn time for the characters to change even a little. More fanservice than plot. Nagatoro and Gal Gohan are much better alternatives.

Seto is denser than a black hole, but Anjou makes up for it by just how good she is. It’s like if Nagatoro was amped up and went full send. Anjou is fully committed and doesn’t have a “tsundere” blush, she’d accept all the consequences.

Senpai is much better than Seto, though, Seto takes the “relatable” parts of Senpai and amps them up too, which turns Seto into an annoying dense protag. However, I don’t think it’ll be for forever, after 77 chapters there’s the tiniest bit of development. The pace is sooo slow though.

@calmbreez I’m gonna be honest, the progress is pretty minimal. You will see gradual progression, but it’s pretty slow. I still think it’s worth the read since I enjoy the characters and the romance is cute.

The art is good but I can't bring myself to like it. Like in every panel the girl is posing in an unnatural and uncomfortable position. Feels like I'm reading a fashion magazine with speech bubbles. And the boy's face is always wide-mouthed shocked. It just looks strange even if the drawings are executed well.

As for plot, it's fine. If you guys want romantic progress, read a shoujo or something. Shounen manga is supposed to blueball you. That's the point.
