I admit that I'm a bit disappointed with this chapter considering the more fun ways it could have gone after the end of the last chapter. It seems to have reverted to a very bland sort of story with bland characters, but I'm gonna stick with it and hope for the best.

That was a quick affection turnaround on both fronts. Boy is smoother than I gave him credit for, and they seemed to get along okay.
Of course, this isn't necessarily a good thing considering the premise, but we can run with it.
