Yankee JK KuzuHana-chan - Vol. 3 Ch. 17 - Childhood Friend

@Czero
I didn't like this chapter one bit REEEEEE

Kidding aside, thanks for the upload.
Rest if you must, but I hope you don't drop this. 🙃

Best girl doing best girl stuff (we all know she's gonna win because she's in the title)

I hope author won't go too much into harem theme making it generic average as fuck just another manga. Just focus on best thing in it and basically the title- Hanako.

There are places I'll remember
All my life, though some have changed
Some forever, not for better
Some have gone, and some remain
All these places had their moments
With lovers and friends, I still can recall
Some are dead, and some are living
In my life, I've loved them all
But of all these friends and lovers
There is no one compares with you
And these memories lose their meaning
When I think of love as something new
Though I know I'll never lose affection
For people and things that went before
I know I'll often stop and think about them
In my life, I'll love you more
Though I know I'll never lose affection
For people and things that went before
I know I'll often stop and think about them
In my life I'll love you more
In my life I'll love you more

I like how we get a bit of the tragic element to the childhood friend backstory. I'll be honest, I've never really seen a backstory in a harem manga about two childhood friends having to split apart because of a divorce, which is a first.

I wish we saw the counter show up again, because she's definitely on his side unless there's some plot twist we don't know about.

On an unrelated note, MC's definitely has grown some balls for himself, and even is quick to interfere. It's a good bit of continuity from earlier.

(Also, that one guy who has stubble and is completely bald looks so middle-aged for a high schooner it's not even funny.)

Wow... genre savvy characters in what is ostensibly a dumb romcom manga.

This manga deserves to be more popular.
