I really love the story and writing in this, and it's fascinating how deliberately and honestly ugly most of the characters are. It's a very striking design.

On one hand, the story and drama is pretty entertaining. On the other, the art is intentionally bad on character design. I get that's the point, as I said, it's intentional, but man it's weird that you're either ugly or normal looking. Did a lovecraftian cult breed in the area with all the sunken faces?
