This guy seems completely genre illiterate about the whole isekai thing so that's kind of fresh. Usually they're all like "Oh I wish the thing from my favorite novels would happen to me- oh no the thing from my favorite novels actually happened to me what do I do now?"

As a non-japanese that tried learning the language I’m just happy an isekai acknowledged how different names are pronounced. Also happy that the MC yanke generally has no idea what an isekai is or about fantasy stuff at all (a happy alternative to the usual “I’m a super otaku whose been reading about this all my life and know exactly what to do”). Plus it looked like he just beat up the goblins and didn’t kill them (with the bandaids and everything), which tells me this is gonna be more lighthearted comedy than serious. Overall this series seems like it’s gonna be a refreshing read; happy I started it.
