This was so satisfactory to watch. Itsuki got poisoned, humiliated and beaten; Ren demonstrated that he has a working brain; and Nao was free to do as much as he wanted without being interrupted

Yep from experience on MMOs fighting a tank in a 1 v 1 duel is a bitch to handle for non burst classes like Archers / Assassins xD. I have a feeling though this loop's not gonna last long now with Ren acting rationally like that, he might get assassinated if this keeps up. And unlike Moto and Nao he's not exactly powerful enough to repel such.

This world's Ren is slightly better than the original one but still not much of an improvement. He keeps saying how the country is suspicious but doesn't do anything about it and while I really, really, dislike Itsuki, he at least tries to enforce his own views.
Well, they're both cowards in the end.

Props to Ren in some regard. Unlike Motoyasu and Naofumi, he doesn't have the power, knowledge or skills to be on his own but at least he has the clout to help them sometimes.
