@CountryMage normally i'd disagree with that line of thought a bit but if we're talking on a more realistic term, i'd at least put a chainmail under that bikini. sure it's more mobile, but it's really giving you less protection that a gamberson if you're wearing nothing under that bikini.

if we're talking in fantasy terms, yeah totally magic bikini armors are vastly superior but this man also appreciates a good boob plate set

@Wolvenworks yeah, don't know if they'll elaborate in the manga, but the novel explains that magical bikini armor turns up occasionally. They don't understand why, but it does offer full protection of armor, as long as you don't cover it...still rare for people to wear it, due to embarrassment....
