A reminder that the "traitor" Sagittarius helped out Virgo in the previous chapter. He can't be that bad, he just needs to be convinced by his true master's fists eloquent treatise on the equality of all races.
Also, are we expect hero boy to become an ally after he's totally not falling in love with our little angel? Honey trap success?

@Kiraidesu: Yeah, based on the way he said his lines + his looks, he's basically that hard-boiled soldier taking care of a bunch of orphans or possibly even his own kids that and right now Leo is the one keeping their community together.
Leo likely plan to/want to fight Lufaas and Sagi here can't go against him since it'll break the community and put the children in danger again, so he can only play the 'bad guy' and give Libra the warning.
Because in some way Libra is 'stupid' and won't try to read deep into it.
In his mind he basically expect to be executed for becoming a traitor down the line, but also plan to do the whole 'the children committed no crime, so just let my death be the end of it, and also can you please take care of them' dying request.
Which given this series so far will definitely be denied and Lufaas will just use an elixir (this chapter mentions they have a lot after all) then tell him to look after them himself and not irresponsibly shove that to others.

All those lower level conflicts feel so artificial when you have the Lufasu/Goddes conflict to contrast against.

They are their to train vergo and get her some confidence. It is a superficial conflict to them. Vergo is not even alone. Aries is accompanying her secretly just incase. The hero and his party think it is a big deal simply because they dont realize who is with them. The demon as well. They haven't realized too, or at least have not shown yet that they have.
The real stupid conflict is actually with Sagittarius. I'll not go into detail about how him using his own arrow to escape is actually physically impossible (unless some hind of magic was used). But his whole thing with Leo is dumb. Leo seems to be exactly as he is suggested at being. Overly prideful. Sure his current motive is not a bad one. But I kind of doubt it is his prime reason. I bet it is just a convenient method to gain more personal power, and to flaunt said power over weaker life forms. Sagittarius, likely is just being dragged along, simply because their interests have an area they "overlap".
If he was really in it for changing the treatment of quadropeddle people, he would have asked for Lufasu's help first. Not just declare he is against her, for some reason, without really trying to even get her help. He even thinks he cant meet her, for some reason. In other words, he is currently a coward who is also easily used by more assertive (charismatic?) individuals. Leo got to him first, so he will side with him believing any interference will hinder Leo's "goal" of helping quadropeddle people. He just seems to be that blind of a person who will believe anyone who tells him a few good words when he is desperate.

A bad idea. As others have pointed out, in the manga and in this very thread, everything suggests that Leo is bad news. Even if he won, he'd probably be a terrible ruler. That said, I don't think the solution is as easy as saying "join Lufasu instead". This Lufasu is different, not here to conquer and rule the world. Who's going to help the centaurs then?

@Bunny_Pierrot The current arc is Chapter 77-89 portion of the light novel. The manga skipped quite a lot of content, but Chapter 80 is the part where Libra used Karkinos as a shield, and 81 is when Mercurius shows up. Chapter 30 of the manga (since it'll come out in a few hours) is pretty much chapter 81-87 of the novel.
At least this is one of the rare few mangas where I remember most names... admittedly that is because they are well-known constellations though.
