Is anyone else not liking the hidden main antagonist with unknown motivations theme? I don't usually like it because it often feels to me empty or not impactful, instead of mysterious. Maybe it's just that manga takes a long time to release so it takes too long to find out what's going on.

LMFAO I can't really blame the folk for freaking out, 5 giant monsters appeared out of nowhere and appear to be getting ready to attack. Even if they didn't have bad reputations it's still completely reasonable to flip out.

Also I feel super bad for the demons, they have no choice in life. If they don't attack humans, they'll be killed. If they do they'll be killed by them. And if by some miracle they do kill al the humans they themselves will then be killed.
