@Riger The goddess hasn't been shown to be able to change a person's feelings and emotions completely. She can only amplify emotions to a certain extent otherwise she would've maid the heavenly stars also attack Lufasu. As long as the hero doesn't have bad feelings towards Lufasu, he can't be forced to attack Lufasu.

@TheGodEmperor The Divine Dragons aren't all oriental dragon shaped, we've already seen a few, even if they weren't all revealed as such. They also aren't all hostile/harmful for the world, they are just at the level of size and power, that they could probably wipe out all life in the world, if they act out in their sleep.

Except the dwarf literally FELT the changes, and copied an image of his untainted self into a machine.
It just means that it either:
A: Takes quite a bit of time.
B: Can only be used on a limited number (hence why none of the heavenly stars were targeted)
Or C: A combination of both.
The reason the stars weren't targeted could be because they're resistant to it, or because Lufasu would have noticed a change in them making it a bad idea.
It could easily be just because the stars are monsters, and not humanoids. Their human forms aren't their true ones.

@TheGodEmperor It's not so much as they ARE a threat, as it is that can BECOME a threat. It's why Lufasu had her critter's seal them away while they were still sleeping.

@riger he gave a reasoning as to what could’ve caused the change. He was afraid that Lufasu would take over his title as the best Golem Artificer. This small amount of doubt gave something for the goddess to amplify eventually turning it into hatred. It’s like one day you’re just a bit annoyed at someone, the next day you feel like punching him, you’d feel something isn’t right. Overall all the times the Goddess has interfered has been when emotions have been involved, especially negative ones (positives like Scorpio’s Love was also manipulated). So as long as people have barely any bad or strong feelings, they aren’t as easily manipulated

lamia (Dryad) and the merman look absolutely nothing like i imagined. Mermen are supposed to have human lower halfs and fish heads (ie particularly ugly). I was imagining the head of a fish on the body of a man.

also its a shame how the manga skipped the whole engagement to the Emperor's daughter bit (Kuma-datta!)
