But can I just say how good the translation of the poem is? I'm not fluent in Korean, but in Chinese the poetry gets real illustrious and the analogies between nature and life become real deep. If the phrasing in Korean gets as archaic as they do in Chinese poetry, then I am extra impressed at the translation. Either way that was a beautiful monologs from Garyun.
