there is romance, but there is drama too near the end of it, the jk and the dude start going out at some chapter, don't really remember numbers, but then there is really dumb drama and they split like around chapter 32, but as you can see in the vol 5 cover they get married at the end after a overly dramatic previous chapter lol
 
@tseng what kind of drama u mean ? like a triangle (third person in the relationship) or just some drama that doesnt have anything to do with that also does the drama last until the end or do we have some wholesome chapters before the mariage ?

but well i really dont like the mc will he man up before the end ?

girls start showing up and try to get close to mc, like 2, one of them being the girl from cover 3 and 4 which is the one that get more screen time, mc start getting better as a person somewhat, arguably i guess, but jk really disliked that because he was getting too full of himself, and because of that their relationship was starting to get kinda dry, mc and jk were in a sexual relationship already and living together, but at around chapter 32 mc looked like he wasn't enjoying that and jk leave the place, chapter 36 is just drama drama (like mc get hit by a car while he is trying to prove something and try to get back together with the jk), and chapter 37 start with them in the hospital post mc operation, they get back together and it time skip 5 years with them having a wedding at the end
 
@KobeisGOAT That's what everybody did with Nagataro (sp?). People always pretend they have dignity but a mildly attractive girl showing any form of interest can flip their opinion real quick.
 
I have a soft spot for these type of gyaru/yankee brash and tomboy-ish girls but in most stories, there's always a really pathetic male protagonist who came together with them as a package deal which is a huge turn off for me. I wonder why they waste time creating these cuck/hetare male protagonists, drawing his face and writting his lines... while they could save time by just making a silent eyeless protagonist similar to a game.

In the US, I would call this pedophilia and statutory rape. Well, not that they had sex, but still. I know this is "okay" in Japan, and maybe most of Asia for a 24 year old to date a highschooler (kind of gross actually), or a 40 year old teacher to have the sexy time with a highschooler (really gross), but still...
 
@hedgemoney In the US people call this "fiction," just like they do in Japan. Nobody in Japan thinks 40-y/o teachers should flirt with their students, and people have gone to jail for dating students (and/or other minors) there just like they do here. Are you also offended that incest is the most popular porn category in the US? Are you offended that shooters are the most popular genre for games? Trust me, I hate to defend this shitty manga in any way, shape, or form, but you're just talking out of your ass. This is not a documentary. It's a made-up story.
 
Man, whats with Japan and making their MCs a total bitch? If its supposed to be self-insert, does that mean they are saying that literally every Japanese guy out there is a beta all wimp??
 
Putting the last cover as the front cover is plainly spoiling the series.
