@Gentlecat I said this about kissing in general last chapter but, they can if they want to can't they? There's not really anything that says friends can't straight up play tonsil hockey if they feel like it. The only reason they don't is because they either don't want to or think it's weird to do so. One of those is just a perception, it's not anything special.

I really enjoy the way this manga plays around with the weird sense of intimacy between these two. I honestly didn't care that Dagashi Kashi wasn't romantic at all because I read it for character designs and stupid gags about candy that I sometimes recognized, but he's really putting this particular dynamic setup to good use.
