Yofukashi no Uta - Vol. 5 Ch. 40 - Not bad, surprisingly

Did the hunter actually kill the teacher with the thing she gave him? I thought she just convinced him to let himself get killed by the sun or something. Unless that actually isn't a weakness of vampires here.

I thought the hunter gave him a silver ring which killed him. As for the call, I'm guessing it was Akira.

"I'll tell you everything I know about how fearsome vampires can be."
Smash cut to page 3.

Thirsty as fuck~

@lfscruz I agree, it's a pretty good fit for her! After just finding and marathoning this manga tonight, there was a good amount of stuff here (mostly in the beginning) that reminded me of FLCL.

I'm definitely glad I picked this up, it's pretty cool altogether. Like the cast, like the nighttime vibes, like vampires. And normally I don't love when manga that start out more aimless/rambling try to transition to having plot partway through, but this time they pulled it off pretty okay, so I'm with it.

Oh shit! Something tells me that even Nazuna-chan doesn't know shit about being a vampire.

@ArtzarB There is probably some sort of elitism in the w orld of vampires where only some vampires due to some bullshit know the truth. Its like how things are hidden from from the public eye by the government, rich and powerful.

God, I love this manga. It’s nice to have this authors beautiful art in something a little more fantastical and you scanlators have been doing a great job. Thanks for the chapter.

The author does a good job here of keeping the tension extremely high, whilst having the two stay in character. There's an over-looming sense of dread and that even FMC is uncomfortable or not telling the entire truth, which I like.
