Well, it has taken me a long long while, but I finally realised that the artist is the same as Dagashi Kashi, Hoshimi Kiku is Hotaru Shidare.

I suppose it is because I'm far more into the dialogue than the artwork, I'm always left confused when I completely miss something like this punch everyone else can see- I need the "Take that!" "Owwww!" text :)

I'd say this will be fresh if they go for an end that shows the bad side of the vampire thing, I guess this dude could end up dead in the hands of the hunter, then we could see this girl had indeed some feeling for him, but get killed too, and then a sort of war between the vampires themselves and the hunter, all to end with Mc not getting transformed into a vampire, but living with nazuna and we'll see him old contemplating the beautiful night sky with her til he dies kinda deal.
