@fireplace67 It is actually part of the entire premise, because the mom could see her too (in like the first or second chapter) ghost girl realized that it's like a bloodline thing so decided to get MC a harem to populate the world with people who could see her, while the author used the mom's work and unusual schedule to effectively write her out of the story as to avoid her impacting the plot to a significant degree (like by ghost girl trying to get MC a bunch of siblings instead)

@kyonichisama pretty early on actually.. pretty sure it's the whole base of the harem plan in the first place. Since they both found out that mom can see her they believed that everyone of the blood descended from her or smth could see her, hence the harem plan.
