This is the problem with society. Why can't we all just love what/who we love? (exception to incest, bestiality, pedos, and other disgusting love)

Yeah, that's the problem. One person's great love is another person's "how disgusting". Society is like that. I'd normally say, if it doesn't hurt anyone and all the partners are capable of consent and do so, then the rest of should butt out. The problem is that relationships are also social institutions. How they fit with the broader society does matter. For example, it may be better to be with someone who is intellectually and emotionally compatible. That could be better than trying to make it work with someone who only sparks your passion. Not every fetish can be the basis for a sustained partnership. Well . . .

Ok, this was actually interesting. A look into a gay couple where rather than "omg everyone haets them now", it's the couple themselves struggling with the beliefs and mores that have been ingrained into them by society.
