I'm just going to chirp in real quick and say that I am thoroughly convinced that after living in a female body since birth for more than a decade she does think of herself as a woman on basic levels. It just can't be otherwise. Imagine you having memory of your previous life with a different body. It wouldn't change the way you feel on the fundamental levels.
