These stories keep over hyping silver cutlery, literally only good at detecting one kind of poison which is arsenic. actually more likely to get a false positive from it given things the the mustard family like cabbage can make them tarnish

I think ruppert is testing her. Since she accepted to test for poison and now to entertainher she looks more like someone trying to win his favour than someone trying to be friends.
