Your Smile Is a Trap - Ch. 8

I like this girl good on her for understanding what was going on with those stalkers.
I still don't get why no one in the class understands that Baek is just shy and socially awkward, even though her reactions are excessive sure, she's not actually ordering anyone around, not hitting or yelling at anyone... Oh well I'm sure things are gonna change from now on, everyone just need to chill lol. Her dad is so adorable too.

Thank you for your efforts on the translation!

Does baek just scowl because she has bad eyes? Why arent they getting her glasses if the dad worries that she'll bump into stuff right in front of her?

i just noticed that the girl is darker skinned - she's not dark at all but just darker than most female characters that i have seen. quire rare to see or it's just me?

It seems to be more of an inherited trait, like father like daughter. Unfortunately, unless she speaks or we hear her inner monologues, it's difficult to interpret her facial expressions, although they barely ever change.

Kiyu is being a little pussy lmao
She didn't even do anything besides looks at him funny. The poor girl is probably aware of why everyone avoids her and now she feels guilty about it :(

Did you not read chapter four when he attempted to be apologize to her (again) but she violently smacked the drink out of his hand, glared at him, ignored what he was trying to say, and then stormed out of the classroom?

Thanks for the chapter!! The worst part is when I get to the last page and there’s no more hahaha. Looking forward to the next one!!

Damn that friend. I want someone as level headed as that around XD
Many thanks

that classmate is so clever!! god bless. im annoyed with kiyu rn but no one deserves to be stalked

I like the idea that he is not great with dealing with people because all his life people have been approaching him as a beautiful person. But instead of becoming super egotistical about it, he got exhausted with the attention and expectations of extroversion, seems like much more of a natural introverted person, but he's having to learn how to relate to people in a whole new way. I love this story, the messages about how everybody judges people differently based on their appearance, him judging himself, everybody judging her, the grandma saying they look similar because they are actually both rather sweet introverts who are burdened with distinctive appearances that they have to reckon with every day.
