I’m certain the prince nominated Psyche as a crown princess candidate in order to use her in some scheme. As far as I remember there doesn’t seem to be any other potential heirs to the throne so the only thing I can think of that would make sense is that he wants to dethrone his father

Oh, Medea was lovely. Well, she still is, but she was...more carefree and kind before? She didn't have to be nice to Psyche (who didn't have that much power before) but she was really nice to her...aww, fuck, I would love to see Medea like that in the present timeline.

I really like Medea and I REALLY DON'T want psyche to become the FL!

She's not the worst but compared to Medea she's so bland and boring. Even her background and her future where she'll probably learn to be strong is basic!!
