Man, Midousuji is still so divisive, huh? I remember back in 2014/2015 a lot of people complaining about him... but he made the show for me and is one of my favorite characters of all time. Just a perfect mix of tropes, a killer design and superb voice acting.

Man as a cyclist im glad this Manga has brought road cycling to the masses, but seeing the stereotypical shonen sports trope is pretty silly lol. Trust me, while there are mind games in cycling, no one is gonna say more than a few sentences at most after cycling at zone 4 for a few hours, much less before a sprint or an attack. Also that tall evil dude totally need a bike fit, a tall ass dude cos playing Caleb Ewan is just silly.

@MyLittleRony I wouldn't call it divise, but... He's just sooooooooooooo over the top, it kinda takes me out of it. I know, sports/school manga are hardly true-to-life stories, but this is the only thing that's taking me out. If the story needs an evil little cunt, then make him betray someone or cheat, call out some weird regulation or whatever to disqualify one of the good guys, something like that.

But giving him some weirdly deformed body and somehow being able to terrorize his own schools' bicycle club, despite being the youngest/newest member? Bleh.
