@agshield Jokes aside you're totally right and it's the first thing I thought of, and I'm sure that distinction is going to be pointed out in universe very soon too. It's still funny to react to though.
@AWildDUK
It is funny to react to. I wasn't responding to anyone here in the comment section, but to Kadota. . .
Anyway, the subtle difference is pretty obvious to us, but I guess that for the characters in-universe: if Yugami = annoying, and Nidou = annoying, then Yugami = Nidou, while throwing out all other qualities.
Case in point: Kadota uses Yugami's image (without permission) for "poster(s) filled with bullshit" but Yugami is impressed instead of annoyed or insulted. In another scene, Nidou is shown to be self-absorbed because he doesn't like being called "you" despite being the second person in a 2-person conversation.
i had a huge holy shit comedy moment where kodata was like "nani, he complimented me for the first time" and it gave me a weirdly shocking reminder about their relationship.
Yugami as the upperclassman and captain, new guy as the same type of freshman Yugami was. Shit, even the current team members might start leaving. They're surrounded from both sides.
