Yep, she didn't sever ties because there was none in the first place. Yugami always said he doesn't need friends thus he never considered her as one. But from that one panel alone I think we all could guess that he genuinely "healed" that Chihiro sent that mail to him. Haha!

Yes! The characters seriously look better by the chapter, Chihiro has been getting improved for a while but even Yugami looks so much better. Maybe it's just me falling in love.
I think overall this chapter has been the best so far in all aspects, just the way the presentation of the events complements the mood is amazing.
It's not particularly dramatic but it's so easy to get invest in it and wait eagerly for the conclusion and then it's delivered in such a calming way, honestly it really left me at peace and happy with everything.
