Baseball is not really a team sport. It plays in turn, which rendered half the team out of the game. Unlike American football in each turn, only a few members of the batting team is involved in the play and the batting can render the entire defense useless by hitting a homerun or allowing a strike. It is truly the definition of the individualistic team game. I love how the author uses baseball as Yugami character development as his facade of self-awareness is still deeply rooted in recognition by others.

@Daigo-kun Latter, I think. The background screen tones portrayed Yugami basking in the light of Chihiro's wisdom.

Paralleling the chapter where Yugami discussed the performance of Heiraku's disciple with Chihiro, this manga has previously shown that Yugami surprisingly lacks self-awareness from time to time.
