Should mention that page 12 is a mistranslation. Yugami's dad is actually talking about his own father (i.e. Yuuji's grandfather) and not himself, so Yuuko is really saying that her brother is just like their grandfather, not their father.

Just want to point that out because the manga often brings up how Yuuji is exactly like his grandfather (Yuuichi).

I knew someone who was keeping a snapping turtle in a pretty huge tank. They'd let it go for walks out of its tank around the living room, where it would happily pick fights with paper cups and such if you put one on the ground for it. There are worse ways to spend time than watching that.
